Description:

Owatrol Oil 500ml is a professional-grade rust treatment and paint conditioner designed to restore and protect metal, wood, and other surfaces. It penetrates deep into rusted areas, pushing out moisture and air to stop corrosion at the source. No need for full rust removal — Owatrol Oil allows you to paint directly over ‘tight’ rust.

As a paint additive, it improves adhesion to tricky surfaces like galvanised steel, aluminium, and wood. It also enhances flow and finish, eliminates brush marks, and boosts the durability of oil-based paints and varnishes. Owatrol Oil does not evaporate like thinners or white spirit and helps retain gloss and colour depth for years.

Used neat, it gives a matt, varnish-like finish on rusted metal or a natural look on wood. It's ideal for protecting garden tools, sheds, gates, machinery, and fascia boards. It’s even heat-resistant up to +175°C and safe for use with many oil-based paints, stains, and primers.
