Marmox Multiboard is a high-performance, lightweight insulated building panel designed for internal construction, waterproofing, and tile backing applications. It combines structural strength with thermal insulation, making it suitable for walls, floors, ceilings, and wet areas.

Core Composition

• Extruded polystyrene (XPS) core for thermal insulation

• Reinforced with fibreglass mesh on both sides

• Coated in a polymer-modified cement layer for strength and adhesion

• Waterproof: Completely impervious to water, ideal for bathrooms, wet rooms, and showers 

• External Rendering: Waterproof applications allow it to used as renderboard

• Thermally Insulating: Helps reduce heat loss and improves energy efficiency

• Lightweight & Easy to Cut: Can be shaped with standard tools (knife or saw)

• High Load-Bearing Capacity: Suitable for direct tiling without additional backing

Installation
Multiboard panels are fixed using adhesive, mechanical fixings, or both depending on substrate. Joints are sealed with waterproof tape or adhesive to create a fully watertight system before tiling or finishing.
