We have branches in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, as well as our online store at irishbuildingsupply.ie.

We have two builders merchant branches:

Kilcoole: Block E, Bullford Business Campus, Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, A63 HV26.

Both branches are open to trade and DIY customers.

Yes. We stock insulation for a range of building and renovation projects, including attic insulation, mineral wool, floor insulation, cavity wall insulation, acoustic insulation and insulated plasterboard.

Yes. We stock plasterboard and a wide range of sheet materials including plywood, MDF, OSB, cement board and tile backer board.

Stock levels can change throughout the day, so we recommend contacting the relevant branch before travelling if you need a particular item urgently.

Yes. Store collection is available from Irish Building Supply. Collection is free. You can place an order online for collection from one of our stores, and will receive an email from the store when it’s ready for collection.

Customers can choose to view prices including or excluding VAT – there is a toggle on the top right of the website page.

We currently provide our standard delivery service within Dublin and Wicklow.

Enter your Eircode during the ordering process to check whether delivery is available to your address.

Standard delivery within our delivery area costs €29.99, with a reduced €14.50 delivery charge available for qualifying small orders.

Delivery is free on orders over €299 including VAT, subject to our delivery terms and delivery area.

Yes. We offer free delivery on qualifying orders over €299 including VAT within our standard Dublin and Wicklow delivery area.

Yes. Irish Building Supply delivers building materials to addresses throughout our Dublin delivery area from our builders merchant network.

Yes. We deliver building materials to addresses throughout our Wicklow delivery area. Our Kilcoole builders merchant serves customers across Wicklow and surrounding areas.

Our standard online delivery service is limited to Dublin and Wicklow. If your Eircode is outside our delivery area, store collection is available.

Irish Building Supply offers three types of customer accounts:

• Trade Credit Account – for trade customers and businesses who wish to apply for credit terms and monthly invoicing.
• Trade Cash Account – for customers who want an account but pay at the time of each purchase.
• Pre-paid Cash Account – for customers who want to deposit funds in advance and allow nominated people to make purchases on their behalf.

The best account depends on how you want to pay and who will be purchasing from the account.

If you are a trade customer or business looking for credit terms and monthly invoicing, apply for a Credit Account.

If you are a trade customer and want the convenience of having a customer account but will pay for purchases as you make them, choose a Trade Cash Account.

If you want to deposit funds in advance and have nominated employees, contractors or other authorised people purchase against those funds, choose a Pre-paid Cash Account.

A Credit Account is designed for trade customers and businesses that want to purchase from Irish Building Supply on approved credit terms and receive monthly invoicing.

Credit accounts are subject to application and approval.

Credit Account applications are available to trade customers and businesses. All applications are subject to our credit approval process, and credit terms and limits are determined following approval.

A Cash Account gives you the convenience of having an account with Irish Building Supply while continuing to pay for your goods at the time of purchase.

It can be useful for regular customers who want their purchases recorded against a customer account but do not require credit facilities. In addition, invoices can be emailed to several nominated email accounts at the time of purchase, including accountants or finance teams.

A Pre-paid Cash Account allows you to deposit money with Irish Building Supply in advance. Purchases can then be charged against the available funds on your account.

It is particularly useful if you want nominated employees, tradespeople or other authorised people to purchase materials on your behalf without having to provide them with cash or a payment card.

Yes. A Pre-paid Cash Account is specifically designed to facilitate nominated people purchasing on your behalf using funds you have deposited in advance.

You can nominate the people who are authorised to make purchases against your account.

Yes. A Pre-paid Cash Account allows you to deposit funds in advance and nominate authorised people to purchase building materials against the available balance.

This can be particularly useful for homeowners undertaking a renovation or building project who want their builder or tradespeople to collect materials without giving them access to a personal payment card.

No. You can open a Cash Account or Pre-paid Cash Account without applying for credit facilities.

A Credit Account is only necessary if you wish to apply to purchase goods on approved credit terms.

With a Cash Account, you pay for your goods at the time of each purchase.

With a Pre-paid Cash Account, you deposit funds in advance. Purchases are then deducted from your available account balance, including purchases made by people you have nominated to purchase on your behalf.

Yes. Your Irish Building Supply customer account can be used when purchasing from our Dun Laoghaire and Kilcoole branches. You can also place orders on account over the phone and via email.
